Is it worth investing in a used, second-hand laminator? What are refurbished laminators worth?

Used laminators might make some people think only of worn-out machines whose condition makes normal production impossible. Of course, you'll find many machines on the market that, after ten years of work, or even sooner, are only fit for disposal. Often, these are irreparable devices.

It's a completely different story with machines manufactured by ZFP.

The equipment we offer was produced in our factory for the D&K brand. These machines have a design that guarantees the user many years of operation without a noticeable loss of laminating quality, and if needed, they allow for the repair or replacement of any worn parts.

The laminators that come to us undergo thorough refurbishment, which usually includes: 

• Replacement of all rollers,
• Replacement of drive components,
• Reconditioning of the main cylinder,
• Supplementation (*) or replacement of active and passive safety features, following current regulations (*especially applies to older machines).

Answering the question of what refurbished laminators are worth, it should be emphasised that well-designed and well-made machines, like ZFP laminating machines, effectively get a second life after refurbishment to the manufacturer's standard. They return to a technical condition comparable to that of a new device.
