Polaris 1050 PB Double-sided Laminator

A high-speed production line for single and double-sided hot lamination of paper and cardboard up to a size of 1050 mm. The line includes a feeder, laminator, separator, and automatic stacker.

High production speed of 60 m/min and two independent laminating units are the key advantages of the Polaris PB. The ability to laminate wide formats up to 1050x1050 mm sets this machine apart from the entire market offering.
Production speeds of up to 60 m/min are combined with exceptional lamination quality and precision thanks to synchronised front lays for accurate sheet positioning and large-diameter laminating cylinders applying 6 tonnes of pressure in each laminating unit.

Polaris 1050 PB allows for the feeding of laminated sheets with a width 1050mm (B1 format in landscape orientation). The feeder has a leading edge guide markę czołową (and optional side guide) and servo-driven heads. The laminator cylinders, equipped with an electromagnetic brake, are heated by electric band heaters. Separation is based on laminate perforation (independent for each web) and a system of asymmetrically closing rollers. An effective anti-curl bar ensures sheet flatness (for single-sided lamination).

The Polaris Landscape version processes sheets up to 1050 × 1050 mm. The feeder is equipped with synchronised front lays, optional side lays, and servo-driven suction heads. The laminating rollers are heated by electric band heaters and equipped with an electromagnetic brake. An effective, adjustable Decurl bar ensures excellent flatness of single-sided laminated sheets. Sheet separation is performed by a Burster unit with perforation of both laminate layers.

The Polaris PB production line operates in a pallet-to-pallet configuration, with an automatic B1 delivery stacker included as standard.

Each section of the production line is built as an independent module with its own operator panel and connected by automatic conveyors. The open, unobstructed access to every module simplifies both machine set-up (including film threading) and all routine maintenance operations.
