HOT LAMINATION – SINGLE-SIDED

We provide single-sided thermal lamination services using modern equipment, ensuring high efficiency and excellent results.

We laminate sheets from A5 up to B0 format, with substrate weights ranging from 90 g/m² to 450 g/m². The use of top-quality D&K films guarantees outstanding results, while our experienced team of operators ensures great care and precision in handling your materials.

HOT LAMINATION – DOUBLE-SIDED (ENCAPSULATION)

We offer double-sided thermal lamination services, also known as encapsulation (fully sealed lamination on both sides).

Double-sided lamination effectively protects sheets against tearing, moisture and dirt. Our many years of experience in professional lamination allow us to handle jobs with a wide range of formats and requirements, including sheets up to 1530 mm wide. We process both short runs and high-volume jobs, using gloss and matt films ranging from 42 to 250 µm in thickness.

LARGE FORMAT HOT LAMINATION

We laminate large-format prints such as maps, plans, posters, boards, and prints from wide-format printers.

The high-quality adhesives in D&K films allow us to laminate paper, various plastics, and even metal. We also mount laminated sheets onto different backings, including PVC, plexiglass, cardboard, and metal.

HOT LAMINATION FOR DIGITAL PRINTS

We laminate digital prints using SuperStick® Nylon film, specially designed for digital printing applications.

This film features a patented adhesive by D&K that penetrates deep into the substrate, bonding securely even through the oily layer typical of digital printing. The nylon structure, which allows water vapour to pass through, helps reduce sheet curling.

COLD LAMINATION

We provide cold lamination services for digital prints, photographs, reproductions, maps, and advertising boards.

We laminate sheets from 210 mm up to 1530 mm wide using gloss, satin, matt, floor-grade, and textured films. We also apply mounting films onto various backings, including PVC, plexiglass, cardboard, metal, and more.

CALENDERING – EMBOSSING

Calendering is a process where a decorative texture is embossed onto the laminated surface using a cylinder with a relief pattern.

This method gives the entire surface a structured finish, imitating materials such as canvas, leather, or other textures.

DIGITAL FOILING (SLEEKING)

Digital foiling, or matrix-free foiling (known as Sleeking), is a print enhancement technology that allows decorative effects to be created using foil without the need for expensive matrices or embossing.

 This technology enables the creation of a distinctive appearance for printed materials such as packaging, book covers, business cards, or invitations. Digital foiling (matrix-free) is a modern alternative to traditional hot-stamping foiling, achieving similar effects with comparable methods but at significantly lower production volumes and costs.

CONVERTING

Material converting involves preparing films and paper in large rolls for further production or sale, such as for labels, packaging, or advertising materials, by cutting them into shorter rolls, trimming their width, or rewinding them onto a different core.

We offer precise cutting and winding of entrusted materials onto rolls of any width and length or rewinding onto cores with diameters of 1”, 2”, or 3”, tailored to the client’s requirements.
